Seller Code of Conduct & Policy
Introduction
These policies govern the relationship between Yalla Souq and its registered Sellers. By registering as a seller, you agree to abide by these rules to ensure a safe and professional marketplace.
1. Seller Eligibility
Sellers must provide valid identification (Trade License for companies / Emirates ID for individuals, subject to approval).
You must be at least 18 years old.
2. Product Listing Guidelines
Accuracy: Product descriptions, images, and prices must be accurate and not misleading.
Prohibited Items: Selling counterfeit, illegal, or unsafe products is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension.
Images: Sellers must use high-quality images without unauthorized watermarks.
3. Commissions & Fees
Yalla Souq charges a commission fee on each successful sale. The percentage varies by category and is displayed in your Seller Dashboard.
Commission is deducted automatically from the total sale value before payout.
4. Payouts (Withdrawals)
Sellers can request a payout once their wallet balance exceeds the minimum withdrawal limit.
Payouts are processed via Bank Transfer or approved payment methods within 7-14 business days from the request date.
Payments are released only after the "Return Period" (14 days) has passed to ensure customer satisfaction.
5. Shipping & Fulfillment
Sellers are responsible for packaging items securely.
If using "Yalla Souq Delivery," sellers must hand over packages to the courier within the scheduled time. Delays may incur penalties.
